Just thought I would share with you guys some of the great projects that I was working on this weekend. First, on Saturday morning, I was headed to meet with Krissy (I know crazy coincidence) of Three Little Birds Stationary store in Southend about some amazing logo and stationary designs she created for me (more on that to come). But in exchange for the logo work she did I made her a beautiful maroon and crystal necklace. See…
This is the Necklace she chose:

Another, more artistic view:

I gave her two choices though, so this one is still available:

Here’s a close up of the beautiful brooch:

After visiting with Krissy I headed home to work on some very important designs, first was for Candice Lanning of The Beautiful Mess. She won the Designs By Krissy Blog Contest on Alyse Woodwards blog in September. She is just absolutely the sweetest person I have met in a while. She and her husband are so cute and they take the most amazing photographs. Anyways, they are hoping to adopt a baby in the next couple of months so along with the necklace that she won for herself I also created a necklace for her future adopted daughter and the biological mother. I was just so touched by how thoughtful this gesture was. Here are the designs that we came up with:
Here is her necklace (please remember I am not a photographer, as if you needed reminded):

A necklace for the mom:

And a necklace for a little girl:

Here are all three together:

More on the rest of the weekend coming up next!

So happy to let you all know that the wonderfully talented blogger, Morgan from A Cape Cod Bride will be wearing a Designs By Krissy bracelet. Thanks to the wonderful invention of Google Alerts I was able to connect with Morgan when I found the blogpost that she graciously wrote about my jewelry. She then contacted me on my Etsy page about a bracelet that she was interested in wearing for her very own December nuptials, see the bracelet below. I can’t wait to see how her wedding comes together. In the short time that I have been following her blog I always agree with the design choices she highlights and also the Vendors that she loves. Best of luck to your Morgan and thanks so much for your support!

A Cape Cod Bride Bracelet
Its been too long!
So here I am coming back to my little neglected blog with my theoretical tail between my legs. I am in the midst of a major online presence overhaul and with that comes some long overdue love to my blog. In the next couple of weeks I will be launching a website, so if you have ever been to www.designsbykrissy.com before then you will be able to see more than just a “This website is coming soon” message. My good friend Laura Gainor came over yesterday to take some pictures for my website. She is an awesome photographer and just launched her own photography business called Blue Wheel Photography. You have to check out her site and then book a photo shoot!
In the meantime between the new site launch and all the holiday rush I promise to be better about posting here. If you have any ideas for what you would like me to discuss including new jewelry, wedding plans or life with my fiance, let me know, leave me a comment! Here is a picture of my latest creation:
